Genesis Behavioral Health is pleased to announce the launch of our new and improved website! The new site went live on February 17th, 2021 with a fresh look and feel, updated navigation, and new informational content. We hope these changes will allow you to easily find the information you need, learn about mental health topics that interest you, and contact us when you have questions.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new website yet, please do. The easy-to-use navigation allows you to research our services, learn about our team, and find out how we can help you.
Here are four things we’re especially excited about:
1. Our Free TMS Guide
Did you know that there is an FDA-approved, non-drug treatment for depression? It’s called TMS therapy, and in our new, free guide, we explain what TMS therapy is and help you decide whether it’s right for you. At Genesis Behavioral Health, we are intimately familiar with the process, treatment, and insurance procedures surrounding TMS, so we’re excited to share what we know with a wider audience through our new ebook!
2. Check Out Our Blog!
Our new and improved blog offers readers information about mental health, TMS therapy, depression, and other mental health struggles. We hope the blog will be an informational, compassionate, and helpful space for our patients and community.
3. Revamping Our Social Media
We’re excited to be producing new content on our social media platforms to reach and educate a larger audience about mental health. Make sure you don’t miss our updates by following us on Facebook and Instagram. We’ll be sharing links to helpful articles, information about TMS and depression, and links to our new blog posts as we publish them.
4. Our Resources Tab
Our Resourcespage is a hub for informational and helpful content on a range of mental health topics. Make sure to check out the new web page we’ve created to house our resources if you haven’t already.
Our Story
Genesis Behavioral Health was established in 1990 by Dr. Ira Tunnell. Dr. Edmund P. “Ted” Williams joined Genesis in 1996. Since then, Genesis has offered compassionate, loving care to our patients in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas. We offer TMS therapy, counseling, psychiatric evaluations, and group counseling, and our staff is trained in a range of treatments and modalities. We aim to give all of our patients compassionate, individualized treatments with a holistic, “whole person” approach.
