Matthew Morales

Graduate Counseling Intern 

Matthew graduated at the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in sociology. He has years of experience working at an acute psychiatric hospital for adolescents where he assisted in crisis interventions and therapeutic activities. Matthew believes that every person deserves the opportunity to overcome their own hardships so that they are able to live a more fulfilling life. Currently, Matthew is attending Our Lady of the Lake University and will be attaining his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has already planned future goals for himself to continue his education towards a PsyD in counseling psychology with a focus in the area of sports psychology. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys the simplicities that life offers which include exercising, playing with his pet husky Jamie, and exploring national parks.
