Suzanne Perakathu

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Suzanne joined the Genesis team in 2018 and brings with her a passion and dedication in helping her patients achieve wellness.

Suzanne received her Undergraduate Degree in Nursing at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, TX, and Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, FL. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing through Walden University, Minneapolis, MN.

Suzanne is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

Suzanne believes that her experience as a Registered Nurse for over a decade enables her to offer a personalized and holistic plan of care for each of her patients. She also believes in a faith-based approach, while being mindful and respectful of each patient’s individual beliefs and views.

Suzanne resides in San Antonio with her husband and two daughters. She was raised in Canada and loves the warmer weather in Texas.
